I am a history enthusiast, researcher and living historian (not a costumer) whose channel consists of mostly ramblings on various historical projects-mainly of mid 19th century research and sewing-focusing on the United States south, particularly Texas but we talk about other cultures, too. There will be a lot of discussion of 19th century clothing, sewing vlogs, wardrobe building, and a few other vary random bits of early Victorian life. We do primary documentation here-you will find none of that conjecture, 21st century logic applied to previous centuries, or even many secondary sources used on the channel. If you have a historical claim, please be prepared to back it up with primary sources dated to the time period discussed (Grandmother's stories of growing up do not apply to the 1850s when she was born in the 1890s) as we are a researched focused group here to grow in our knowledge of history and better understanding of those who lived in the past.
