The International Centre for Responsible Tourism global is a non-profit dedicated to education, training and knowledge sharing.
We are on a mission to share more knowledge and understanding of Responsible Tourism in order to make better places for people to live in, and better places for people to visit. There is no blueprint, no internationally valid prescription for how tourism should be made more sustainable. The salience and importance of issues vary from place-to-place, affected by the cultural and natural environment, and solutions vary too. Responsible Tourism requires us to say what we are doing to make tourism better and more sustainable, and that we are transparent about what we achieve. We offer online professional certificates in Delivering Responsible Tourism and Addressing Overtourism and support universities and organisations to understand the opportunities and issues we all face.
