Diminishing staffing levels, shrinking budgets, ever changing training requirements and increased call volumes is creating a real issue for rural fire departments across the nation. Our hope is to share any tips and tricks we've learned over the years that might help other departments in similar situations. A bonus would be to spread awareness of the increasing challenges smaller departments are facing.
