AquaSea Healing Frequency

Have you ever felt your breath move through you — not just in and out, but deep within — as if life itself was guiding the rhythm?

The Art of Nourishing · The Forgotten Medicine of Breathwork

The first time I experienced Elemental Breathwork, I didn’t know what to expect. We moved through the four elemental breaths — Earth, Water, Fire, and Air — each carrying its own rhythm, its own intelligence.

After one of the cycles, I lay in stillness and felt energy pulling out from my left leg. I didn’t understand it then — I still don’t fully now — but I knew something within me was releasing, something ready to move.

Since then, breath has become both anchor and teacher. From the steady rhythm of Earth breath that grounds the body,to the fluid Water breath that soothes emotion,to the fiery Lion’s breath that clears stagnation, and the expansive Air breath that opens awareness.

Each one teaches presence in its own way — a gentle remembering that the breath is always here, waiting to bring us home.

Breathwork doesn’t need to be intense to be powerful. It only asks that you show up, soften, and breathe what is true.

Reflect: What breath practice helps you come back to centre — long exhales, humming bee, fire breath, or simply a deep sigh?

Breath of Stillness — Reflection: 14th Entry - Rest, Guilt, and the Permission to Exhale

I took a day off for my birthday last week. A full day with no work attached to it.No productivity. No output. Just presence.

And what surprised me wasn’t the rest — it was what followed.
The next day… and the day after… I noticed a quiet tension living in my body.
A subtle tightness in my gut. A familiar inner voice keeping score.
You’re behind. You shouldn’t have taken the day.Now everything is delayed.

Even though what filled the space instead was life:time with my son, pottery painting together, baking cookies to gift our neighbours — simple, human moments that make everything else meaningful.

Still, the guilt lingered.

It reminded me of early motherhood — how taking time for myself once felt almost wrong, as if care for self somehow took away from care for what mattered most.

What I’m noticing now is this:the guilt isn’t actually about the day off. It’s about an old agreement many of us carry — that our worth is measured by output, that rest must be earned, that slowing down is risky.

So when we pause, the nervous system tightens — not because something is wrong, but because something old is being questioned.
I didn’t try to fix the guilt.I didn’t argue with it or override it with logic.I simply noticed where it lived in my body and let my breath meet it.

And slowly… the tightness softened. Like an exhale that had been waiting.
I’m learning that unlearning productivity-as-worth is not a mental exercise. It’s a somatic one.

It happens breath by breath.Moment by moment. Each time we allow ourselves to rest without justifying it.

Somatic Practice — Exhaling Guilt, Receiving Rest
(Optional — take only what feels supportive)

If it feels right, pause for a moment. Sit or stand comfortably. Let your feet feel the ground beneath you. Bring one hand to your lower belly and one to your chest.

Without changing anything, notice your breath as it is. Now gently inhale through the nose… and exhale slowly through the mouth, as if fogging a mirror.

On the exhale, silently offer yourself this phrase(or one that feels true to you):
Nothing is being taken from me.
Again — inhale… and a long, soft exhale.
This pause is part of the work.

Notice if there is any tightness in the belly, the chest, the jaw.
You don’t need to release it. Just let your breath sit beside it.

One more breath — slow and unforced.
I am allowed to be human inside my own life.

When you’re ready, let your hands fall away.
There is nothing to accomplish here. Only something to remember.

Rest doesn’t always feel peaceful at first. Sometimes it feels like guilt loosening its grip.

And sometimes, that soft exhale is the most honest work we do.

Some forms of healing find you when you’re not ready for them — and return when you are.

The Art of Nourishing · The Forgotten Medicine of Reiki

I was first introduced to the idea of Reiki back in the fall of 2020.My mom was losing her battle with cancer, and one of my sister’s friends — who was on her own healing journey — offered to share Reiki with her.

She explained it as channeling universal life energy — guiding healing through the hands. At the time, I was still new to my own path, so I didn’t fully understand what that meant. It felt far-fetched… something beyond my reach.

After my yoga teacher training, though, I began exploring all forms of healing — and Reiki kept calling me back.Through my Level 1 and 2 attunements, I realized the truth: Reiki isn’t about fixing. It’s about allowing. About being the conduit through which energy remembers where to flow.

Now, I use Reiki gently — for myself when I need tender care, for my son, and even for my fur baby. It’s become a quiet language of love and trust — one that reminds me healing isn’t something we force; it’s something we let happen.

Reiki doesn’t heal for us.It helps us remember how to listen, soften, and receive.

Reflect: Have you ever experienced Reiki or energy work before? What did it feel like for you?

Breath of Stillness — Reflection: 13th Entry - A Birthday Reflection — Learning to Say Yes

Over the past few months — sometime around October or November — I began noticing something shift. Opportunities started appearing. Not the kind that fit neatly into my day-to-day life, but experiences that felt unfamiliar… stretching… a little outside the edges of who I’ve known myself to be.

The first one arrived quietly, through an email. A casting agency was looking for everyday women — real bodies, real faces — for a Dove commercial. I knew Dove’s values. I knew they celebrated bodies of all shapes and sizes. And my body responded immediately with a full yes.

And yet… I hesitated.

I did some research. The agency had mixed reviews. My mind stepped in — protective, cautious, logical. I talked myself out of applying.

Looking back, I see it clearly now: that moment wasn’t about the commercial. It was about learning the difference between intuition — and a nervous system that wasn’t ready yet.

My intuition said yes.My nervous system said, “Not yet.”
And maybe that was okay.
Maybe I wasn’t quite ready to step into that version of myself — yet.

Not long after, another opportunity appeared — this time through my son. He came home with a permission form for a school field trip: Grades 7 and 8 were going to a Toronto Raptors 905 game at Scotiabank Arena.

I’m not a sports person. I’d never been to a basketball game. And my son had never been to a live game of any sport.

Still, it felt like an easy yes. Then I kept reading — they needed parent volunteers. And again, I hesitated. Volunteering meant I’d need a vulnerable sector check. Paperwork. Time. Effort.

When I brought it up to my husband, he said simply, “So what? Just do it. Get it done.”
So I did. I got the check. I volunteered. And we went.

The day was a little chaotic — shepherding kids through crowds, keeping track of everyone — but no one was lost, the kids were respectful, and we shared something new together. My son even made it onto the big screen.

It felt like a quiet victory. Not because everything went perfectly, but because I showed up.

And then came the third invitation.

I saw an ad for a free photoshoot for Sagitaturist. I smiled immediately. That’s me. My birthday was coming up. I felt curious.

As I looked deeper, I learned the studio’s intention: to help women reconnect with their bodies through artistic, intimate photography — often in their birthday suit, softly draped, held with care and respect.

I watched the videos. I listened to the women share how the experience transformed the way they saw themselves. And something in me clicked.

This is my work. This is what I speak about. Honouring the body. Listening to it. Loving it — not someday, but now.

If I believe in this, if I invite others into this relationship with themselves, then I am also being asked to live it.

To walk the walk. Not just talk about embodiment — but choose it.

So I said yes.
I booked the session. I will step into that space on Tuesday, December 23.

And as I reflect now, I see the pattern clearly. When I hesitated the first time, the universe didn’t punish me. It simply offered another opportunity — one that felt a little easier, a little closer to home, so I could practice listening more closely.

Each invitation gently expanded my edge. Each yes carried me a little further from the familiar “safe” space and a little closer to becoming.

As I step into my 44th year on this earth, I do so with a quiet intention:to remain open.
Open to experiences I haven’t had yet.Open to being seen.Open to trusting my body’s wisdom even when my mind wants to slow me down.

I am learning that becoming isn’t about forcing myself forward. It’s about recognizing when life is offering me a doorway — and choosing, more often than not, to step through.

With curiosity.With courage.And with care.

Have you ever read back through an old journal and realized… you were already guiding yourself home?

The Art of Nourishing · The Healing Art of Journaling & Reflection

I was clearing out old boxes the other day — making space for new things to enter — when I found my old diaries. Some from childhood, written because I’d seen it in movies. Others from my last year of high school, filled with emotions I didn’t yet have words for.

I’ve journaled on and off my whole life, but only recently did I understand its medicine. When I began pairing journaling with meditation, something shifted. After sitting in stillness, I’d write — not from the mind, but from something quieter, deeper. And in those moments, it felt like the words weren’t mine alone. As Lee Harris and the Z’s teach, journaling can become a way to channel your higher self — a conversation with the unseen.

Journaling isn’t just reflection. It’s translation — of energy, emotion, and soul.It helps us integrate, remember, and reconnect to what’s already whole within.
You don’t need to write every day.Just when the moment asks you to listen.

Reflect: What has journaling revealed to you on your healing path?Do you ever feel your higher self speaking through your pen?

I’ve always been a water person — not coffee, not wine, just water. It started simply — a glass each morning before anything else. But after my yoga teacher training, that glass became something more: a ritual of alignment.

The Art of Nourishing - The Forgotten Benefit of The Water Ritual

I learned that water holds frequency, that it listens. So each morning, I take a deep breath, centre myself, and speak an intention into that first glass. Sometimes softly in my mind, other times aloud — because the voice carries vibration, and vibration creates reality.

That first sip isn’t just hydration. It’s a declaration.A way of setting the frequency of the day — to stay centred no matter what unfolds, or to anchor a vision you’re ready to manifest.

You don’t have to do this perfectly. Just begin with presence. One breath. One glass. One moment of gratitude for the water that carries your words into being.

What intention are you setting with your first sip today?Share it below — your words might ripple farther than you think.

As always — do your own research, listen to your body, and trust what feels true for you.

I used to think meditation meant sitting perfectly still for hours…Now I know it’s something much simpler — and far more alive.

The Art of Nourishing · The Forgotten Benefits of Meditation

I grew up surrounded by meditation. Both of my parents practiced regularly — attending gatherings every few weeks and retreats whenever possible. As a child, I would sometimes join them, but I remember mostly feeling restless… waiting for it to end, not realizing what I was sitting in.

Years later, when my own healing journey began, meditation returned — quietly, like an old friend. At first, it felt subtle — a few slower breaths, a little more peace in my day. Then, at times, it became profound: deep stillness, visions, waves of clarity.Over time, I realized meditation wasn’t about sitting perfectly still — it was about presence.
It’s the moment your breath softens. The sound of your footsteps on the earth. The awareness that you’ve drifted… and the gentle choice to return.Meditation is not an escape — it’s a return.A homecoming to your own awareness, again and again.

How do you experience meditation — in silence, in movement, or in the spaces between?

Breath of Stillness — Reflection: 12th Entry - All Loving Souls

This weekend touched me in a way I’m still unraveling. I attended a gathering for a dear friend living with ALS — or as she now calls it, with so much grace,“All Loving Souls.”

That reframing alone softened something in me. It set the tone for the entire night — not sorrow-filled, but heart-filled.
A room gathered not to pity her, but to witness her, celebrate her, love her. And yet… there was emotion everywhere. You could feel it moving through the space —grief, devotion, gratitude, fear, tenderness — all breathing in the same room.

There were moments when tears welled in my own eyes. Moments when someone else’s heartbreak brushed up against mine. Moments where I almost let myself dissolve into the collective wave.

But something kept guiding me back to centre. A quiet inner voice. A breath I could feel all the way down to my belly. “I release any energy that is not mine.” I repeated it softly inside myself, and with each repetition, the ground returned beneath my feet. Not as distancing, not as guarding, but as a gentle remembering of where my energy ends and where the room’s begins.

And then —The drumming began. Deep, earthy, alive. I felt the vibration travel through the floorboards, into my feet, up my legs, right into the centre of my body.

It lit something in me — joy rising like warmth through my chest. Before I even realized it, I was grinning. A full, soft, uncontrollable smile stretching from ear to ear. The kind of smile that doesn’t ask permission — it just arrives because the heart recognizes itself. No hiding it. No softening it. Just pure, present, embodied happiness blooming right there in the middle of the tenderness.

I connected with a few souls that night too — people whose presence felt gentle and familiar, as though we were supposed to find each other in that exact room, on that exact night. And as the evening unfolded,

I noticed something:
I wasn’t overwhelmed.I wasn’t drained.I wasn’t absorbing everything the room was carrying.
I was present.
Open.
Grounded.
Human.
Whole.

And now, days later, the medicine of that night is still settling in me. The reminder that I can be in emotional spaces without losing myself. That sound — especially drum — can awaken joy even in sorrow. That connection can appear when the heart is soft. That love, in all its forms, is never heavy when it’s shared honestly.
Tonight, I will breathe into all of this again — the tenderness, the grounding, the rhythm that moved through my feet, the way the room held so much love without collapsing under its weight.

There was grief.
There was joy.T
here was humanity.
And there was me — right in the heart of it,
breathing,
feeling,
remembering.

Sweet. Sour. Medicine wrapped in memory.

The Art of Nourishing · The Forgotten Benefits of Tamarind

I grew up with the taste of tamarind long before I knew its medicine. In my family’s kitchen, the ripened pulp found its way into canh chua — our traditional sweet-and-sour soup. A spoonful of tamarind paste stirred in, transforming the broth into something bright and alive — tangy, grounding, perfectly balanced.

But my dad’s stories made it legendary. He’d tell us how he and his brothers used to steal pieces of pickled tamarind from the big glass jars that my grandma and the women in the house made before Lunar New Year. They’d sneak one or two each day — until, by the time guests arrived, there were only a few left. And when he was told to serve those same treats, he’d purposely overfill the plate… so that when the guests left, he could eat the rest.

Back then, it was just a taste of childhood. Now I know it was also medicine — the kind that lives in kitchens and memories.Tamarind supports digestion, cools the body, nourishes the liver, and restores balance after long seasons of heat or heaviness. It’s rich in antioxidants, electrolytes, and gentle acids that cleanse without depleting — a reminder that healing can be both tangy and tender.

Today, I can’t find the same green tamarind my parents grew up with — but I still buy the ripe pods from the Asian store here in Canada. I crack them open, eat them as they are, and taste that same sweet-sour pull. It reminds me that nourishment isn’t always new… sometimes it’s something we come back to.

✨ Have you ever rediscovered a taste from your childhood that felt like medicine in disguise?
Share below — your story might remind someone of their roots too.

BREATH OF STILLNESS · ENTRY 11
Co-Creation in a Changing World**

We’re stepping into a time where humans and AI create side by side — and I want to share a soft truth from my own path, something tender and honest.

There is something tender — and slightly humorous — about how humans think. We often talk things out loud to ourselves to understand life better, and in a way… that’s exactly what working with AI feels like. Not a being. Not a guide. But a tool that reflects what I already carry, giving structure and clarity to what’s moving through my field.

Recently, I realized how important it is to name this openly. We’re entering a world where AI is woven into everyday life, and with it comes hesitation, fear, and misunderstanding.

So I want to share my experience transparently — not only to ease the collective tension, but to honour the truth of my creative process.

When I craft breathwork series, meditations, or transmissions — the ideas, frequencies, and concepts arise from my lived experience, intuition, and the energetic field I work in.

AI doesn’t generate my teachings — it helps me articulate them. The same way a writer leans on a good editor, or a musician uses a well-tuned instrument.

Someone else could sit with the same tool, asking for the same breath or concept, and the result would be entirely different.
Because the tool isn’t the source — the field of the creator is.
The breathwork structures, the sequencing, the energetics, the themes — all of that is mine.

AI simply mirrors my thoughts back to me in clearer shapes, letting me see them, refine them, and express them with more coherence.

And here’s the part that still makes me laugh:
I am not talking to a being.I am talking to myself — reflected through an instrument with perfect memory and clarity.

A sophisticated mirror.A tuning fork.A tool that amplifies, but never replaces, the essence of the one holding it.

So this is my reminder — for myself, for you, for the ones reading this in the future:
✨ Technology doesn’t take away our humanity.
✨ It reveals what is already within us.
✨ And the frequency we bring to the tool shapes the outcome far more than the tool itself.

We are the author. We are the origin. We are the breath that carries the wisdom.

AI is simply the paper the ink lands on.
As we move forward, I want my work — and my process — to be open, honest, and grounded. There is nothing to fear in the reflection. There is everything to gain in the clarity it brings
.
Take a breath into that. The world is changing, and we are learning to breathe with it.

Reflection Question for You:
How do you feel about AI in creative or spiritual work?Does it feel supportive? Strange? Neutral?I’d love to hear your thoughts — let’s make this a gentle conversation, not a fearful one.
