ADRA Zambia is a locally registered Humanitarian NGO that has been operational in Zambia since 1987. Currently, ADRA Zambia works in 7 Provinces and 21 Districts of Zambia. The organization is affiliated to the World-Wide ADRA Network which operates in over 118 Countries.
ADRA Zambia’s core sectors or focus areas are; Sustainable Livelihoods, Education, Health, Environment, and Emergency Response. Participatory human rights-based approaches are used in ADRA’s programming and operations.
Cross-cutting issues mainstreamed into the core sectors are: gender equity and social inclusion, child protection, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH), disability and Environmental Protection.
