This is a journal of one couples endeavor to live A Musical Van Life.
We started as a musical couple with a simple checklist;
1. Build equity, we scrimped every penny together for a down payment on a house in Portland Oregon in August of 2017. We rented rooms both on AirB&B and to long term tenants so that we could afford the mortgage.
2. Get out of debt, we sold the house in April of 2024 and used some of the funds to pay off all of our debts, YEAH!
3. Home base, this is where we begin documenting the process and release the first season. We purchased a fixer-upper house for cash in a lovely town in Indiana and still have the cash to do the repairs.
4. Van buildout, We will purchase the right van and document the buildout process.
5. Tour, yes, we finally arrive at the goal ... A Musical Van Life.
We will, as always, be playing music along the way and doing our best to enjoy life.
