I love how this one particular upcoming goal for the Reapers’ Gauntlet Of Goals is about The Burning Blade, but that ship shown is clearly The Flying Dutchman: Wrong sail design, different aftercastle, three jibs instead of one and you can even make out the original broken bowsprit and the skeleton holding his scythe on the replacement bowsprit below it. I just found this intriguing and amusing, it almost immediately caught my eye upon first seeing it.

So I Guess With Adventures Ending, And The Unlikelihood That Previous Adventures Will Make A Return And Be Replay-able, I Decided To Make A List Of How The Items, Not Including Titles, That Could Be Earned By Completing The Adventures During There Active 2-Week Period, Could Be Re-Added And Unlocked For Purchase Via Commendations Or Rank Up In Factions.
Also, A Few Of These Have Either No Or A Poor Answer, Mainly Because There’s Just No Current Commendation Or Rank Up That Would Fit With Them. But Feel Free To Add Any Suggestions If You Find One!
PLEASE READ! If Anyone Thought Of This Idea Before Me, And Shared It Here, Or Reddit, Twitter, Anywhere, Etc. Then I Will Say That This Is NOT Attempted Plagiarism! You Got It First And I Will Not Deny That! This Was Just An Idea I’ve Personally Had For Awhile And I Wanted To Finally Share It Here On My Channel Just For Fun! But I’m Terribly Sorry If It Is Though!
Remember, This Is Just For Fun! And I Doubt Anything Will Happen Regarding If These Items Themselves Will Ever Return To The Game, Or The Adventures. But, Who Knows?
While I unfortunately won’t be able to play Season 11 on launch day, Booo! I’m hoping to be able to jump in tomorrow, the new season looks very promising, and I’m seeing a lot about the new Becalmed Theme on the title screen. Maybe I’ll get a chance to record & upload my own version soon enough!
Wow! What a surprisingly good end to The Legend Of Monkey Island trilogy!
This tall tale has proven itself to be by far that best of the three: From unexpectedly seeing the bootleg “Black Pearl” being captained by Guybrush, to the whole of Monkey Island itself with it’s very enjoyable and clever puzzles that it had to offer, and through The Catacombs to the final boss with LeChuck and his ship, and finally back to Melee Island with one more showdown with LeChuck himself!
Over all, this is easily the best out of the three in my opinion, as it brings almost everything together impressively in one single tall tale!
Biggest downside I’ve found out of the entirety is the sheer amount of captaincy trinkets as rewards, with The Burning Blade being the only non-trinket item to earn, which makes it the best one.
Except of course for the title and especially the Monkey Island Sea Shanty! Which I unfortunately could not get either of them due to getting the glitch that has them still locked despite completing every commendations in all three tall tales. But hopefully it will be fixed soon!
Coming to the conclusion, I thank rare for giving us such a unique trilogy of tall tales full of awesome puzzles and a very fun and intriguing story, and has helped me learn more about the Monkey Island franchise then I ever thought I would!

Wow! What a surprisingly good end to The Legend Of Monkey Island trilogy!
