Just here for my "every 4 months post to keep everybody in the loop that I'm still alive in my particular corner of the world" post. I'm still lacking a computer I can do proper editing on for life/financial reasons and wouldn't have a ton of time for it even if I did. BUT, I do have a cell phone with a camera, and have been floating around the idea of possibly trying to figure out some form of short form live video content to post to the channel in the mean time. Not sure what that will be yet, or if it will even come to fruition, but keep your peepers keen on your subscription feeds, just in case my fancy has been sufficiently tickled. As always, thanks so much to all of you for subbing and watching, both new and old to the channel. I want to make content for you all and am doing everything I can to get myself back to it. I'm not gone, still here floating in the wings. I do want to get back to YouTube uploads in 2025, but I don't expect I'll be able to until this summer. There's this really big herd of ducks here and I'm having some issues getting all of them in a row for things to line up, but with each passing week they get a bit more cooperatiive. Thanks to all of you for continuing to watch and comment, I still read them regularly and respond when I can.

Hey all, time for another quick update. I'm still alive, still reading comments and still working towards being able to get back to YouTube in the next few months. I hope everyone is well and I thank you all for continuing to watch and for everybody new that stumbles into my videos every day. I honestly can't believe we just hit 5k subs, and I'm looking forward to growing even further when I can finally hop back into this.

Well hello there Legends! It's been a couple of hot minutes since the last upload and I wanted to take an opportunity to tell everybody that I'm still here, I still exist, and I'm still very much planning more content. It's just that sometimes life gets in the way, and without the luxury of being able to afford doing this full time, any spare cycles I come across often times already get spoken for.

I've got a more storytelling idea I'm currently churning over, we'll see where it goes, and I'm hoping to get it posted in the next couple weeks. I can share more details then, but I'm really interested to see if it goes anywhere, and if it does, where it goes if it can go. You get what I'm going for?

Thanks to everybody that continues to watch and comment, getting a notification popup on my phone of someone enjoying my videos enough to share their thoughts really is huge to me, I absolutely stop and appreciate it each and every time it happens. Thankfully I'm still small enough to be able to read every single comment :D

Anywho, just wanted to shout out into the void to those of you still out there listening for my voice to echo off the walls of the desolate valley that is my videos page recently. Thanks for being there, and I'll have something for you real soon.

Hey all you Legends! As I'm sure you've seen over the last several months, I've been trying a bunch of different formats and things to see what kind of stuff sticks the landing in terms of analytics performance. As much as I'd love to think I can just make whatever I want and it'll work, unfortunately the algorithm often has different plans.

So I wanted to take this opportunity to get the reading from all of you legendary subscribers out there, and see what kinds of content you've seen from me over the last few months to a year that have spoken to you the most so I can direct my focus going forwards.

Unfortunately I can't make a poll directly here in YouTube that allows for multiselect answers (or a poll with more than 5 choices...), so instead we'll have to do it via a Google Form, but don't worry, it's totally anonymous.

Please click the link below, and then on that poll either select your top two content types from that list, or just select the "Gimme Everything" option at the bottom by itself. The form will (should) only allow you to select a maximum of two items anyway, but try to avoid clicking something else if your option is the bottom one.

If old point-and-click Sierra adventure games have taught me anything, your fate can change in a heartbeat when you least expect it, and boy did this Game Theorist Guy song go a lot further than I was expecting it to.

Literally two months ago I was rounding the corner to 600 subs, and thanks to all of you out there, sharing a love for MatPat and Game Theorists and rallying around the various feelings of him stepping back from his main role in the channels, I'm now rounding the corner on 2K subs. Which is...to put it frankly...bonkers.

I'm hard at work on my next video. Going to be taking a look into the lore and story of Helldivers 2 and giving my unique twist to it. I hope you all enjoy, from the channel OGs to the multitude of new Legends in the ranks.

For the new folks out there, this isn't my full time job, but I'd love it to be, and your help and support is the best way to get me away from making things for others, to making my own things for you all. Thanks so much for watching!

P.S. I looked into the Spotify thing for the song, and apparently Parody works are in a tricky grey area for their platform. Basically because I used a backing track, I still need to get license permission from the original creator to post it, even though it should technically be completely fair use in this case. That's a bit out of my means for the time being, so for now, on YouTube is where it will solely remain. But I won't forget about the request, and who knows where this channel will grow, maybe my need to have a Spotify artists account will become more of a requirement if these styles of video take off. I do love me some music.

As we are very nearly closing the gap on 600 subs and the end of 2023, I just wanted to take the time to thank you all so much for watching, subbing, commenting, liking, or whatever combination of those things suits your viewing comfort level best. I'm here doing this because you're here doing that, and I am super thankful for it, so thank you.

I hope you all have a happy holiday season and are able to kick-off your 2024s with renewed vigor and refreshed spirits to accomplish all the things you've always wanted to achieve. Just remember that I think you're a legend and I know that with hard work and self-discipline you can most definitely get there.

I'm still working hard on my next video which I'm hoping to post by new years if I'm lucky with availability. I would love to be able to turn this into a full time gig, and I'm hoping to make even more strides towards that goal in 2024 to crank out the ideas floating in my head that are even crazier than what I've posted so far, but for now are limited by time and resources.

Can't wait to keep making more content for you and sharing my style of craziness with the world.

Hey all, you may have noticed a sizeable gap between my recent videos, and that's for two reasons.

One: I actually DID make a video I posted last week which was an epic rhyme time video plot summary of the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, but that got blocked for copyright detection and I had to take it down, even though it SHOULD be fair use. Oh well.

Two: I'm working on another video, a little bit of a different topic than I usually go for, and it's pushing my animation abilities to new levels, so it's taking a fair bit longer, but still related to gaming lore and theories. I'm really looking forward to getting it posted, but there are still plenty of animations and sounds to fiddle around with, so it'll be a bit yet.

Hey all, just wanted to say hey amidst my editing frenzy for these Alan Wake 2 videos and I was thinking about trying out a premiere and see how it goes instead of just posting it publicly and interacting via comments.

I just wanted to gauge and see who would be interested in taking part. I'm in the PST time zone, so keep that in mind when thinking about if you'd be able to show for that or not.

For those that aren't aware, the Premiere system essentially allows me to schedule a video to go live at a certain time and creates an active chat that we can all take part in as the video becomes available and plays. Not saying it'll happen for the very next video, just something I've been thinking about.

Well Alan Wake 2 is finally out after 13 years of waiting for it and I enjoyed every single moment of it! Story Explained video is well under way for it, but I would also encourage you to play it for yourself! Games this good don't come around often, and I feel it would be a missed opportunity not to experience everything it has to offer first hand.
