If old point-and-click Sierra adventure games have taught me anything, your fate can change in a heartbeat when you least expect it, and boy did this Game Theorist Guy song go a lot further than I was expecting it to.
Literally two months ago I was rounding the corner to 600 subs, and thanks to all of you out there, sharing a love for MatPat and Game Theorists and rallying around the various feelings of him stepping back from his main role in the channels, I'm now rounding the corner on 2K subs. Which is...to put it frankly...bonkers.
I'm hard at work on my next video. Going to be taking a look into the lore and story of Helldivers 2 and giving my unique twist to it. I hope you all enjoy, from the channel OGs to the multitude of new Legends in the ranks.
For the new folks out there, this isn't my full time job, but I'd love it to be, and your help and support is the best way to get me away from making things for others, to making my own things for you all. Thanks so much for watching!
P.S. I looked into the Spotify thing for the song, and apparently Parody works are in a tricky grey area for their platform. Basically because I used a backing track, I still need to get license permission from the original creator to post it, even though it should technically be completely fair use in this case. That's a bit out of my means for the time being, so for now, on YouTube is where it will solely remain. But I won't forget about the request, and who knows where this channel will grow, maybe my need to have a Spotify artists account will become more of a requirement if these styles of video take off. I do love me some music.
