Haunted Cartridge

In the end, I decided to keep both the longform and shorts on this channel.
The Poll I've done was 50-50 so I have to make the final call. I think growth will be faster this way and it just makes it much easier for me.

We're still a small channel, maybe when we get bigger we'll do another poll

I'm having second thoughts on splitting the channel into 2.
The original idea was to make it so that the people who are strictly interested in one type and not the other doesn't have to have both show up in their feed.

But looking at the stats of both stats. I don't think that's really a problem. The content from the Longform and the Shorts is similar enough that most of the time, it will interest both.

I see pros and cons on both side so i'd love to have your input on it.

TL;DR: I'm thinking of splitting longform and shorts into two different channels, Thoughts ?

I am thinking of splitting my content into two different channels. The main reason for that change is that I think shorts audience and longer video audience are different. I might be wrong but I do think that someone that is interested in the bite-size horror that I post everyday might not want to sit through a 10 min narration.

Youtube themselves has mentioned in the past to separate content formats when audience doesn't overlap and shorts and longform rarely share behavior.

I'm still weighting the pros and cons of doing this. I'm thinking that maybe in this channel the audience does overlap, I'm not too sure.

I would love to hear your thoughts about this.

Trying something new this week 👀

Hey everyone! I’ve been experimenting with different visuals for the stories and I’d love your opinion.

At first, I used AI-generated visuals, then switched to in-game screenshots or game-related images.
This week, I’m testing actual gameplay footage or stock clips (depending on the story).

The reason for the change is that AI art is way more restricted now, and I can’t really create “game-like” visuals anymore.

So I’m curious — which style do you prefer when watching the videos?

TL;DR: I Quit my job, How can I improve the channel?

Big news! I have quit my job and can now focus entirely on Youtube.
What this means for the channel is that I will have more time to make videos for both this channel and my gaming channel, PotateCG. So I do plan to post longer creepypasta more regularly.
The big question is what would you guys like to see? any suggestions on creepypastas, or how I can improve ?

Haunted Cartridge

I’d love your opinion on something.

Since the start of Haunted Cartridge, I’ve been using AI-generated visuals to match each story. But lately, I’ve been thinking of moving away from that.

The thing is… AI made it really easy to create a ton of eerie images that fit the mood. If I stop using it, I need a new approach.

Then I realized — maybe I’ve been putting too much focus on visuals.
Most people listen to creepypastas; they don’t watch them. Maybe one haunting in-game screenshot, with some subtle motion or distortion, would actually sell the vibe better.

After all, nothing is scarier than what your own imagination fills in.

What do you think?
Would you prefer the old multi-image style, or a simpler, more atmospheric one-image format?
