Here is my Updated SpongeBob SquarePants Season 9 Scorecard. If season 8 was a solid turning point, then season 9 is the much better improvement. While of course it’s not shy from bad/atrocious episodes, I can safely say this is where the show got so much better. And not just after the second movie either.

And to make things worse following up yesterday’s post:
Not only did they pointlessly use A.I. for a sale poster, but they made a freaking A.I. generated commercial with SpongeBob sunglasses. And the visuals alone make me wanna go back in time and prevent A.I. from happening if it meant slop like this would never exist.
