Another day, another chicken. And run.

10km recovery run after hard intervals yesterday. Felt alright, I’m getting stronger. Three months ago I would’ve been dead today if I hit this workout the day before.

On the other side of the run I had a serious chicken session waiting. Thai chicken burger. Delicious.

Then a quick stop at the local Asian store. Picked up my favorite ingredient gochujang. And shot a few frames for a mini music video. Excited to show you. Probably tomorrow 2pm Stockholm time.

Ups and downs in the chicken fitness game.

Although today’s 15km run was an easy run it was the most mentally challenging in the marathon build. I’m tired from running 80-90km for the three last weeks. It sucked but I did it. That’s what matters. And it’s good that it’s challenging. That’s the point of going for a stretch goal, in my case sub 3h in my first marathon.

Also I found motivation in knowing that on the other side of the run I had a great cooking session with my man Emil waiting. We invented two new chicken hot dog recipes for an upcoming event. Thai style and Japanese style, you’ll see more about them soon. But I can tell you they were both fkn delicious.

Now I’m winding down with a walk and some greatness in my headphones. Action Bronson and my favorite podcast Philosophize This 🔥

Great week. I hit my biggest week in the marathon prep with 90km total and I feel strong. I also created two of my best chicken sandwiches to date. Both with jalapeño hot honey as key ingredient, love that stuff.

Last night I switched up the diet a bit with some entrecôte and fries. It was amazing and perfect for building the body after a hard 33km run.

Tomorrow it’s back to chicken big time. We’re test cooking for an upcoming event. It’s some real avant- garde chicken. I’ll show you.

ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER CHICKEN. AND RUN.

One step closer to that sub 3 hour marathon goal with a solid 10 km run. Now I'm about to devour this leftover fried chicken parm sandwich. Made it on the balcony yesterday. Eating it cold and it tastes as good, if not better. There's something special with eating food cold the day after.
