My name is Dylan Smith. I'm an artist and musician from Alaska. When I'm operating in my element I just write whatever I feel compelled to.
I have 2 primary projects that I work on:
- Mediations (ambient meditational soundscapes using my guitar)
- Opus (a solemn world building project I've been tinkering at for over a decade now)
Every once in a while I get a wild hair and try something different, and it usually gets added to these projects:
- Vector (hard rock with experimental touches)
- Glister (tracks inspired by 90s platformers soundtracks and T-Square)
I also occasionally do video game music arrangements and covers, generally with the intent of retaining the "spirit" of the original, without changing the vibe into something entirely different.
