Welcome to the Youtube channel of the Enoggera Ensemble! The Enoggera Ensemble features four leading Brisbane musicians who bring Queensland’s rich colonial music history to life in a powerful and dynamic way. Banjo, mandolin and guitar clubs were all the rage from the 1880s to the 1930s and this new incarnation delights in sharing the fascinating histories and sounds of the phenomenon through captivating live performances. The Enoggera Ensemble comprises Marissa Carroll (mandolin), Joel Woods (banjo and mandola) and Dominic Ward (guitar) and is led by Duncan Gardiner, a professional guitarist, composer and music researcher who is undertaking a Doctor of Musical Arts research degree at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University.
