Welcome! This channel features performances on historical plucked instruments — mainly the lute and theorbo.

The lute was widely played from the Middle Ages through the 17th century, and is known for its delicate, expressive sound.
The theorbo is a larger relative of the lute, recognizable by its long neck and rich, deep bass tones.

These instruments are rarely seen today, but they offer a unique and beautiful sound world.
I hope to share their charm with a wider audience through my performances.
