After losing myself in my 20s to mid-30s, chasing validation and filling emotional voids with noise, I turned inward to heal.
✓I lost 23 kgs = from 73 to 50kgs
✓Managed my autoimmune condition (Rheumatoid Arthritis)
✓ Meditated daily
✓Completed a 10-day Vipassana
✓Started my journey of minimalism
✓ also donated 18 inches of my hair

I have no qualms in accepting that a major part of my life I have lived with a lot of,
self-limitations
self-doubt
anxiousness
low self-esteem
feeling of worthlessness
but
In 2017 when my glass got full of the above feelings,
I realised "While it's ok not to be ok..."
What is not ok, is to continue to live with it,
that first step of self-awareness was the game changer.
It has led me to work on my inner fitness first & give myself a turn-around.
Whether it's through
seeking counselling,
making lifestyle changes
learning meditation and practising it every day
or, making mindfulness a way of living...
Since then,
I have known the value of mental, and emotional well-being
My interest in learning more and helping more people in this space is multiplying.
I am thrilled to share that I completed my certification and accreditation as a "Mental Health First Aider" by
Mental Health First Aid INDIA (#MHFAIndia)
I am equipped with the correct knowledge and skills to recognise the signs, and symptoms of mental illness,
provide the initial support and assistance to anyone experiencing mental or emotional distress.
While it's a long road ahead,
to de-stigmatise the topic,
that mental and emotional illness is real.
I take another step today.
