World Food Movement (formerly Sattvic Meals Foundation) is a Milpitas-based nonprofit dedicated to providing free, nutritious meals to community college students.

Did you know? 1 in 3 college students skip meals because they can’t afford them.

With the help of generosity of individuals and institutions, we have now rapidly expanded to over 4 colleges in the Bay area since January 2025 and served over 3500+ meals:

With 116 community colleges in California and 2.1M students to serve, we have a long way to go! We believe no student should have to choose between their education and their next meal.
