I’m Maya (CEO: Chief Excavation Officer) an attitude-packed Husky/Malamute who lives with my loyal (slightly confused) Man companion, So Way. We live deep in the backwoods of Maine, just off the Appalachian Trail.
We call this place Homestead Zero — not because we starting from nothing (though we did), but because we’re aiming for as close to zero waste, zero grid, & honestly.. Zero clue half the time.
We build from reclaimed materials, half-baked ideas, & sheer stubbornness. It's sustainable living with no grid, no frills, & no blueprint — just muddy paw prints & calloused hands. His builds are questionable but I’m always right.
