Founded in 1879, our city has a cultural historic past and an ever-growing community rich in economic opportunity and expansion. Casa Grande has a total area of 48.2 square miles, and is located where Interstate 8 meets Interstate 10, approximately 48 miles southeast of Phoenix and 68 miles northwest of Tucson. Casa Grande has an estimated population of 63,743 residents as of 2023.
