You can basicly fit my videos in two cathegories: Compilations and Revamped or 'tweaked' music. I make compilations of ragtime community playing Tom's pieces and Tom himself just being an insane pianist.
I have received numerous questions about these tweaked versions, which also are the most frequent uploads.
Most performances from Tom on Youtube are either a recording for his album or live footage. The album recordings have much better sound quality but don't have any video of Tom playing while live performances do have this, but they lack sound quality. Tweaked Versions combine the studio recordings with live performances to combine best of both worlds in one video.
However, the first tweaked versions actually served a different purpose: Making the audio sound better. My three favourite effects to do this are Pitch, EQ and reverb. This breathes new life into Tom's music
