Welcome to Nintempo!
Making remixes, remasters, and orchestrations of video game music has been a hobby of mine for about 8 years now.
Although my life has become busier as of late, I still try my best to continue my hobby and upload new videos when I can!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a good long weekend!

I actually ended up receiving some new VSTs for Christmas as a gift, so hopefully that will improve how my songs sound. It'll take a bit to learn how to use them well (especially with Musescore, or if I end up learning another program). Anyways, just wanted to share that good news.

I should have videos more regularly too. I'm sorry for the radio silence since Halloween, this is ultimately just a hobby and I've had to set it aside for more pressing matters recently.

Also, thank you for all the support to the channel via views, comments, and subscriptions. Even if this isn't a professional or big thing for me, I still really appreciate the support and hearing feedback in the comments! : )

Again, I don't know who/how many people will end up seeing this, but hello again and sorry for this wall of text!

I initially began doing stuff with video game music on MuseScore in the hopes of making cool orchestral versions, which quickly turned into simple remasters and reimaginings due to the software limitations at the time.

Now, with the release of MuseScore 4, I'm able to use VSTs (yay!) which means I can hopefully make better quality sounding remixes/remasters! What this also means is that I can now make orchestral versions of songs that I'm actually happy with.

Basically, what this means for the channel is that I'll have some orchestral versions of songs thrown in with the normal remasters and reimaginings. Some songs are definitely more suited for an orchestra, so those will typically be the ones getting orchestral versions (for example, songs like Bob-omb Battlefield would get remasters or reimaginings whereas songs like the Fire Emblem theme would get an orchestral version, and then songs like Termina Field could go either way). I'm sure some would think the orchestral versions are ultimately better, and I'd probably be inclined to agree, but the reason I'm going to continue with the remasters, etc. is because I feel like they can bring out things like a song's genre, whether it be Rock, Metal, or Bossa Nova, in a way an orchestral version cannot.

In addition, I don't have any full soundtrack reworks in progress right now, but I do have a smaller soundtrack selection from a Gameboy Advance I am working on. For the most part the songs in it will be remasters and trying to stay faithful to the vibe of the piece, but a few songs in it are orchestral, so again you can expect to see this sort of thing in the future and I'm sorry if the change between songs is ever jarring because of that.

Finally, I have a proof of concept for orchestrations coming soon, so let me know what you think!

Hello to anyone who sees this, I'm just trying out this feature since I have access now.

I wanted to use this test to let you all know that I'm still working on new remixes/remasters, so in the mean time, I'm finally going to get around to releasing solo videos of some of my remasters from the Ocarina of Time soundtrack. The first two will be releasing within a day, with more to come about every other day or so (it should only be about 13 of the tracks total).

I also wanted to note that, because of how hyperactive YouTube's copyright detector is, every now and then a song will be claimed because it picks up the melody, even though I've obviously made a bunch of changes to the original and will usually edit the melody, if only slightly. If there's an abundance of ads because of that, I'm sorry, I don't intend to ever monetize my videos. I also wanted to say, I apologize if sometimes my video templates are a little off. I'm doing everything myself, and I'm not the best with thumbnails and editing, so there will be inconsistencies and mistakes.

Finally, I wanted to thank everyone who's given my videos a listen and for sharing their thoughts. I'm obviously fairly amateur and don't have the fanciest tools, but I try to only upload remixes/remasters that are up to par with how I imagine them in my head. I can't guarantee I'll end up doing any song you request, but I like hearing them so I have ideas of where to listen and see what I get inspired to do. Again, thanks for all the support!
