Charity Mapletoft is a classical soprano and actress.
In the 2026 season, she is delighted to return to Carnegie Hall and to make her debut at the Lincoln Center, receiving an award from the New Jersey State Senate for Exceptional Achievement in Music. In previous seasons, she has performed as an operatic soloist to international critical acclaim on such stages as Carnegie Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Mozarteum Großer Saal, Hyogo Performing Arts Center, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Usher Hall.
In addition to operatic and concert work, she has also acted in feature films including Muppets Most Wanted (2014), The Riot Club (2014) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Episode VIII) (2017), as well as taken lead roles in Back for the Future (2022), Track and Trace (2022) and The Female Gaze (2022).
Charity holds the following qualifications with distinction: M. Mus.; B. Mus. (Hons.); LRAM (voice, soprano); LRSM (voice); DipABRSM (voice); DipABRSM (piano); LAMDA Gold Medal (acting).
