Satélite Kingston

Satelite Kingston, also known as SK, is an Argentine ska band from the city of Buenos Aires. Their music is directly linked to the more traditional Jamaican sound of bands like The Skatalites or musicians like the Cuban Jamaican Laurel Aitken.

S.K. was born in 1997. They have released five CDs and have played in all kinds of venues, both in their hometown and in other places in the country, Brazil and Europe.

In 2004 they participated in the album "Tributo a Bob Marley" in which they covered the songs "Top Rankin" and "Trench Town Rock" and in 2006 they participated in the "Álbum Verde" the reggae tribute to The Beatles covering the John Lennon song, Because.

In recent years they have reunited to play in various parts of the world such as in Mexico City in 2019,1 on August 19, 2022 in Buenos Aires and in Santiago, Chile on December 10.
