Magnu Sousá and Maurílio de Oliveira, integrated the Quintet in White and Black for 18 years, were winners of the 24th Brazilian Music Award and released 04 CDs with the group, in addition to participating in special projects on CD and DVD such as: Adoniran Barbosa 100 anos , Ataulfo Alves 100 anos, Prata da Casa (Sesc SP) and in the works of other artists such as: Fabiana Cozza, Dona Inah, Osvaldinho da Cuíca, Jair Rodrigues, Beth Carvalho, Emicida, A 4vozes, Nei Lopes, Samba Social Fino among others
Much more than brothers of blood, brothers of soul, a true bond of talent, which culminated in a beautiful history for music, with footprints on the road of the samba of almost twenty years, both were inspired by an old dream of carrying out a work that could portray as the main references experienced by them until today, the “Prettos”
