Heart defects are the most common type of birth defect, and the leading cause of infant mortality due to defect worldwide. 1 in 100 infants have a heart defect but unfortunately, approximately 50% of all heart defects are NOT detected before birth, which can have tragic consequences.

Tiny HeartsCan Foundation is a not-for-profit organization working to increase the prenatal detection rates of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) in Canada. Your support will fund our free, specialized sonographer training programs and public outreach initiatives, helping over 500 infants across Western Canada receive a potentially life-saving CHD diagnosis before birth.
