I cook like a real person with a job, a kid, a grocery budget, and limited patience for food that looks great but makes life harder.

This channel is where I try recipes that catch my eye and tell you how they actually went. I don’t cook for crowds or perfection. I cook to eat, which means I care about effort, leftovers, and whether something is worth making again.

I follow recipes loosely, cook on instinct, and make changes when it makes sense. You’ll see smaller batches, realistic swaps, shortcuts I’d actually use, and desserts that don’t leave me stuck with a whole cake in my house for a week.

Some recipes are great. Some are fine. Some aren’t worth it, and I’ll say that too.

If you want polished food content or constant positivity, this probably isn’t it. If you want honest cooking and real-life context, you’re in the right place.
