The Rainbow Lit Fest – Queer And Inclusive, seeks to bring together different identities and sections of society to explore common ground. Our first edition - December 7 & 8, 2019 - at Delhi's Gulmohar Park Club, With 80 speakers and panelists from 18 cities and towns from India, Thailand, USA, Norway and UK, there were over 50 sessions between the two days. Media, such as Hindustan Times and FeminisminIndia, said this event was a milestone in the LGBTQ movement for 2019. Literary pages such as the popular Curious Reader on Instagram has said our Festival is a 'must' visit in 2020.
The hope is that over a period of time, we collectively stitch together more informed narratives about diversity. Sitting pretty much at the intersections of alternative and mainstream, the Fest is a mix of different forms of expression such as prose, poetry, art, music, dance, films, talks and discussions.
