Ricky Odrey (born Ochieng Derrick) is a Ugandan recording artist, songwriter, colorist, and editor. Raised in Entebbe with roots in Tororo, Eastern Uganda, he blends Afrobeat with contemporary Ugandan sounds to create a unique fusion of Afrosoul, Afroswing, and acoustic influences.

His music journey began after the loss of his mother, which deeply influenced his artistic direction. He started writing and performing songs centered on love, pain, and personal growth. Over time, he developed a signature style that reflects both vulnerability and rhythm-driven African storytelling.
