I've been sewing since 2009. However, during COVID19 I bought every Cricut product on the market with plans to expand my skills.

Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 High Grade Urothelial Cancer (aka bladder cancer) in June 2021. Since then, I have had 7 surgeries (2 major), chemotherapy, immunotherapy & then more chemotherapy. In June 2022 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 and again in December 2022 the cancer metastasized again. I've been on the same chemotherapy since January 2023 and I'm currently NED (no evidence of disease).

I started my YouTube channel to help me search for answers on 2 things - how to get through life with cancer & how to craft! My is to help others with the same questions. I hope you subscribe & join me on my journey.

I have an Etsy shop - still in vacation mode called the Joy Schoppe named after my mom who died in 2003 from breast cancer.
