Chautauqua Updates
Chautauqua Updates covers issues we think important for our county. Not surprisingly, the local, national and even international issues intersect, as in the case of the current effort to induce the people of the rolling hills and valleys of rural Chautauqua county to accept giant industrial wind turbines. The program is based on the misguided and doubly expensive program (executive order) of NY Gov. Cuomo to "go green." This 'going green' is based on misguided science that CO2 is a pollutant, and that it causes global warming. Just the opposite, CO2 increases FOLLOW global warming; and CO2 is NOT A POLLUTANT but is crucial for all life, and at 400 ppm, we are perhaps CO2 deprived). So, Chautauqua Update is a mix of local and national/international stories along similar themes.
