Guatemalan singer/songwriter and producer Gaby Moreno creates music that offers an intoxicating invitation into her musical world for English and Spanish speakers alike combining folk, soul, blues and latin genres. Gaby received a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2013. Her album "Ilusión" produced by Gabe Roth from Daptone Records fame (2016), was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Latin Pop Album". She co-wrote the theme song for NBC’s show Parks and Recreation.
Moreno has toured around the world alongside artists like Tracy Chapman, Ani DiFranco, Hugh Laurie, Punch Brothers, Calexico and David Gray.
Her album "¡Spangled!", a collaboration with musician and arranger Van Dyke Parks, was nominated for a Latin Grammy (Best Traditional Pop Album, 2020).
She also received a Latin Grammy nomination for "Best Tropical Song" (2021) for the song "Bolero a La Vida", which she co-wrote, produced and sang as a duet with Omara Portuondo.
She is a UNICEF goodwill ambassador from Guatemala.
