Pura Vida! My name is David-James Nutter, and I have taught in public, charter, and private schools since January of 2013.  I was born and raised in Austin, Texas.  The nucleus of my life experience is in English, education, and hospitality. I love to do what I was born to do. Teaching is a part of my destiny. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in the fall of 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in the school of Liberal Arts, majoring in English with a minor in UTeach-Liberal Arts. I have taught elementary, middle, high school, and college scholars. Currently, I teach English 4, English 5, English 6, and Writing Mastery 5 at BASIS Austin. I am beyond thrilled to work with and to learn from the indeed thoughtful minds of all people.  I seek to pay it forward, seize the day, and commit to lifelong learning.
