Both look green… but only one is a real forest 👀
This land used to be a palm oil plantation. Today, it’s a thriving forest.
15,240 trees planted in partnership with FKL 🌳 And we let nature do the rest.
In just over a decade, the landscape recovered.

How satisfying is this forest transformation?
Throwback to this before-and-after from @IpeOrgBrConservacao in Brazil, where we’re supporting the restoration of the Atlantic Forest.
After 3 years of planting forest corridors, 26,000 trees are growing 🌳
And animals are starting to move through the forest again.
Thanks for being part of it 💚

From a giant circle in the ground… to a forest?
These are foxhole forests.
Circles dug into degraded land, where seeds are planted directly into the soil.
Over time, they grow, expand, and start connecting with each other and with the forest that’s still there.
In Madagascar, our partner Tropical Biodiversity Social Enterprise is using this method to rebuild habitats for lemurs and 200,000+ species found nowhere else on Earth 🐒

Same place, two years later 💚
Deforestation broke this part of the Atlantic Forest into isolated patches.
Together with CEPAN and local communities, we’re reconnecting it by restoring forest corridors.
36,452 trees are now growing in Paraíba, Brazil 🌳🌳🌳
A mix of planting and muvuca: sowing enriched, native seeds to help them establish.
These forest corridors help species like monkeys move through the forest again, alongside birds and pollinators 🐒
