These trees are only the beginning 🌲

Together with ‪@transylmagica6213‬, we’re restoring degraded land in Romania’s Carpathian Mountains and helping native forest return.

And it’s already getting visitors: bears, foxes, lynxes and more have been spotted in the mountains 💚

Because a forest isn’t just about trees — it’s about the life that depends on it.

What could a trillion dollars do for the planet? A lot, actually.

Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire.

That fortune isn't cash in a bank account, sure — but it shows how much wealth can concentrate in a single person while climate and nature stay underfunded.

Swipe to see what a trillion could fund.

We're growing food forests in Northern Thailand 🌴

With ‪@PlantWithPurpose‬ we'll plant 500,000 trees this year — native species beside productive ones like jackfruit and cocoa.

For the farming families, that means stronger livelihoods and more water security 💧

For the land, protected habitat for Asian elephants and Sunda pangolins 🐘

The communities behind this work are ethnic minority families, many of them former refugees — now becoming recognized leaders in forest conservation.

This is restoration led by the people who live closest to the land 💚

6 years later... this palm oil plantation is a forest again 🌳

With Leuser Conservation Forum, we’ve helped plant 15,240 trees across 17 species at this site in Sumatra, while letting nature regenerate too.

Today, farmers are harvesting and selling fruit from the trees, and our partners have found signs of Sumatran tiger and sun bear nearby 🐅

Local monitoring also shows lower average temperature and more rainfall.

Forests (and tigers) come back when we let them ✨

🌱 Meet Margaret. She manages New Nature Foundation’s eco briquette production facility in Uganda, turning a challenge in Kibale forest into a solution for her community.

Our partner Uganda Conservation Foundation clears Acanthus from the forest to make space for native trees to grow back.

Instead of going to waste, the plant is transformed into eco briquettes – a cleaner alternative to traditional cooking fuels for the local community.

More native trees in the forest + cleaner fuel at home 🤝 everybody wins.

Not all forest transformations look dramatic from space. The real change is on the ground.

In Burkina Faso’s Sahel region, every small tree is helping bring life back to degraded land in an extremely dry climate 🌱

On this site, we’ve planted and protected 14,662 trees from diverse species — together with our partner ‪@hommesetterre1902‬ and local communities 💚

There was hope for this land 🥹

It was turning into desert. Today, it’s becoming green again 🌱

In this part of Burkina Faso’s Sahel region, the soil was getting drier year after year.

With our partners Hommes et Terre and local communities, we planted and protected 14,662 trees from diverse species 💚

To survive the dry conditions, trees are planted in half-moon-shaped pits that capture rainwater.
