With the coming of the internet age, musicians/artists now have the ability to share their work with tons of people they may not have been able to reach, through utilities such as Youtube, Soundcloud, Bandcamp, etc. But with ease of use comes a larger amount of smaller artists, and it's easy to get lost in the swath of music. This was the idea behind The Resonant Slice - to create a way to share some of the music located off the beaten path, and shine a light on the more interesting works in the midst of the mass of sound.

This "blog" if you will is certainly not the first of it's kind, and we encourage you to check out the bunches of other similar services out there. There's so much great music out there to experience - and not all of it is located in the "popular" sector. Go exploring!
