JERRY HARRIS REGGAE ARTIST /Reggae Lovers /Roots Reggae /Dub / R&B /smooth Jazz
Born in Jamaica and living in New York since 1975, singer, songwriter and guitarist (bass, lead and rhythm) Jerry Harris has being part of the New York reggae music scene. He has recorded for producer Lloyd ‘BullWackies’ Barnes in groups like Reckless Breed, Roots Underground, and Wackies Rhythm Force but also as a vocalist on his 1982 album I’m For You. In 1985, he went to Japan and worked with a Japanese company promoting reggae music where he became a major success with other Vintage Reggae Artists from Jamaica and Japan. Jerry then started to produce his albums on his own label Listen Up Records and has many releases on his own label
