The term "Euphony" refers to a pleasant, harmonious sound. When referring to our choir and our musicians, "Euphony" simply suggests voices that are melodious and pleasing to the ear.

Euphony was founded and directed by Rushan Hewawasam. Euphony has five subsections - Euphony Chorus, Euphony Voices, Euphony Kids, Euphony Orchestra and the Euphony Band. Euphony Chorus consists of approximately 60 members, whilst Euphony Voices is a 24 voice choir. Euphony Kids is a children’s choir with children between 6 - 18 years of age. Accompanied by the melodious instruments in Euphony Orchestra and Euphony Band, Euphony comes alive.

Our choristers and musicians come from various walks of life - including from multiple faiths, ethnicities and ages and pride ourselves on calling each member a friend or “family”. We believe in the power of music and its impact on the community and work towards discovering the magic in music while showcasing it to our audience.
