In each episode, we try Japanese food we like, come up with our own recipe to recreate it, and show you how to make it at home in Kyoto, Japan. We hope you enjoy our Japanese Cooking 101 food in a little different setting from our regular videos. Our 1st episode is Wakaayu, a fish-shaped Japanese cake filled with sweet mochi. Stay tuned!

Hi everyone! Hope you enjoyed our Best Instant Ramen Recipe posted on April 1 (April Fools!) 😂
April is the beginning of many new things in Japan, and we are excited to start a couple of new series on our channel ‪@JapaneseCooking101‬!
On Monday (California time), we are starting our new "Miso Monday" series! We will show you how to make simple everyday Miso soup with a few ingredients found in our fridge and/or pantry.
On Wednesday, we release another cooking video! Noriko and Yuko alternate each week and cook a simple and realistic Japanese dish from our kitchen.
On Friday, another new recipe video will be released following our "usual" Japanese Cooking 101 format.

So... yes, you read it right. 3 x more Japanese recipes every week (we will try!)
Ingredients and printable recipes will be published on our website Japanesecooking101.com for all recipes.
