The Piskie Trap
The Piskie Trap is a new audio series exploring a range of tales from across Devon and Cornwall, a region steeped in myths and legends. From stories of ghosts, witches, piskies, giants, mermaids, black dogs and many more, to forgotten aspects of the region's history, traditions and superstitions.
Featuring guest appearances by historians, folklorists, storytellers and people who have a personal connections to these tales and places, we'll delve a little deeper to try and discover where these stories came from, their meaning or significance, and why we should keep these traditions alive.
