Hey...My name is Pat and I’m the “different guy” (or kettlebell guy) – the one people turn to when they’re ready to shake things up, do something different and actually enjoy their workouts.
My passion is helping people break free from the boring, uninspired routines that make fitness feel like a chore. I’m not here to geek out on the data or chase tiny performance tweaks. My purpose runs deeper:
- Helping the person who’s struggled to stick to a routine their whole life discover movement they actually love.
- Guiding the new parent from gym life to efficient, at-home workouts that fit their busy schedule.
- Reigniting the spark for someone bored with their current routine by introducing them to something fresh, exciting, and sustainable.
Fitness isn’t about white-knuckling your way through a grind you hate. It’s about finding your path – and staying on it for life.
Let’s shake things up. Try something different. And keep going, forever.

If I had to boil down 10+ years of coaching and training into just 5 simple rules…
These would be it.
This is the stuff I’ve drilled into my own life, and into every client who’s ever asked: “Where do I even start?” or “Why am I not seeing results?”
The truth is, most people are overthinking the hell out of fitness.
You don’t need the perfect program. You don’t need the fancy gym. And no, you don’t need to cut out carbs, fun, or your social life.
You just need to stop guessing… and start following a few real-deal rules that actually stick.
In this quick video, I break down the 5 rules I live by (and you probably should too):
One of them is about movement.
One’s about food (you’ll meet my dad’s “DES Diet” philosophy). And one might ruffle some feathers.
Give it a watch. It might just change up how you think about getting in shape for good.

Alright guys I am going to test you a little bit on this one today, let's see how your kettlebells skill are.
I have to warn you that this one is not for beginners.
We've got some tough stuff in this one.
This one requires skill with the kettlebell as well as a little brain power/coordination.
The complex in this one it hard, but I promise you if you take your time, slow down and take it piece by piece you should be ok and able to have a fun time with this one.
And once you do, it is one of the more empowering complexes/flows that I have.
I am a big proponent of keeping things simple and straightforward, however, I have found people tend to feel the best when they challenge themselves with tricky techniques and can do them.
So click below and give this one a shot. Take your time and listen to my cues.

I want to address some comments I get on social media.
These comments come after I've done a very heavy lift...
And no it's not the "yOu sHoUlD wEaR sHoEs" comments.
It's the comments along the lines of "Wow, I thought I was doing good with my 24kg (53lbs) kettlebell and then I see you using a 56 (124lbs)"
Now, do I think these people are being kept up all night because I use heavier bells than them? No.
But the comparison still might be there...taking away some of their joy and happiness about their progress and where they are at in their journey.
Listen to me when I say this.
Basically my entire life revolves around this silly little cannonball with a handle on it, and even before the kettlebell took over, my entire life still revolved around lifting heavy weights.
Please do not let what I do take any light away from the path you are on and the progress you have made.
And the same goes for any other aspect of life with anyone else on the internet.
Stay on your path, be happy about your progress and keep pushing.
Look for motivation and inspiration from outside sources, but remember that...
Comparison is the Thief of Joy
