The Original AirDrew, I started as a Record Boy in The Bronx about 1980 for the Freak City Crew. A Record Boy is responsible for record crate integrity. Dad, a graduate of RCA Institute NY, had a club with his friends. He made loudspeakers and other electronic components; crossovers, terminals, and switches, and I would assist him. In 1981, Dad bought me my first turntables Technics SLB1 from Crazy Eddie on Fordham Road (The Bronx). My friend Eric had one, a friend who had a Numark mixer that he gave to me. I used my Dad's Marantz 1152 DC amplifier (I still have it) his speakers equipped with Oaktron woofers and mid range speakers and horn tweeters. We created our crew The Music Masters, and played at school and private parties. About 1989, Eric and I started 2 Over 6 Productions and produced a complation Rap album. I later taught myself how to produce music tracks. AIrDrew is the DJ, DrewdubZ is the music Producer. Relic Room Mountain Studio, Liquid Air Production is the company.
