Pause to Protect is an organization dedicated to preventing firearm-related injuries and deaths by empowering local firearm businesses to lead the charge on secure storage. We partner with retailers to expand access to secure storage solutions, equipping them with resources, training, and outreach materials to educate their communities. By empowering these businesses to advocate for secure voluntary storage (unloaded, locked, and separate from ammunition), we’re turning local expertise into life-saving action—preventing accidents, suicides, and stolen guns.
