Hey, nature lovers! I'm Jody, a California gardener with 15 years of tending in Harding Zone 9. Inspired by both of my grandmothers, my garden reflects the simplicity of their lessons. 🌸 Roots of Inspiration: One grandma loved tropical plants, the other was a farmer. I have some lovely memories from scavenging for bananas, avocados and plums along with collecting eggs. With their wisdom, my love for plants transitioned to a simple garden.
🌸 Pet-Friendly & Pollinator Paradise: My journey is about creating a haven for my dogs, cats, pollinators and wild birds. It can be quite a challenge, but I often wont purchase flowers if they are toxic for my dogs and cats.
