We’re Daniëlla, Kay, Lewis, and Beau — a Dutch family of four (plus our dog Ollie) who sold everything to live full-time on our Lagoon 450F catamaran, Luna.
With little boating experience but a big dream, we left our house behind and turned Luna into a fully off-grid, solar-powered, tech-loaded floating home. Kay builds (almost) everything himself, while Daniëlla shares the real story: the joy, the chaos, the challenges, and the “are-we-really-doing-this?” moments of life at sea.
From crossing the Mediterranean and navigating the Strait of Messina, to dodging storms, fixing leaks, homeschooling our kids, chasing sunsets, and preparing for our Atlantic crossing — we bring you along for every part of the adventure.
