I’m Robert C. Maxfield II. I’ve been shooting live music since 1977, starting with Queen’s News of the World Tour. What began as a teenage rush turned into a photojournalism career, with my work published worldwide.

I’ve shot legendary artists in every environment—from gritty back alleys and packed clubs to massive arenas and stadiums. Today I focus on Texas Red Dirt and Americana, but I cover it all.
