I started creating this site after losing my father in the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The most difficult thing for me during the disaster was not being able to charge my phone due to power outages.
If I had access to Twitter, I could have asked for help or obtained information.
Not being able to see anything was scary, but the feeling of isolation was the most frightening. From that experience, I decided to convey the importance of portable power sources.
Japan is a country prone to disasters. I believe that if every household in Japan had one portable power source in stock, the damage caused by disasters would be greatly reduced.
