Exactly 11 years ago, on July 17th, I started this YouTube journey. Just like this beautiful sunset over the Ntwetwe Pan in Makgadikgadi, Botswana, the experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. It perfectly captures the feeling — vast, beautiful, and humbling — just like the past 11 years.
Your support, kind words, and encouragement have truly made this journey special.
Thank you for being a part of it.

The quiet heroes of our world aren’t always in the headlines—they’re the electricians, the mechanics, the labourers who take on daily risks to keep our lights on, our homes safe, and our lives moving forward.
This photo, captured while traveling along a highway in Botswana in July 2025, stands as a humble reminder of their invaluable work—often unseen, yet absolutely foundational.

The white rhinoceros, one of the largest land mammals, has two horns composed entirely of keratin—the same protein found in human fingernails and hair. Unlike true horns, which have a bony core, rhino horns lack bone.
The front horn is typically larger than the rear horn. Rhinos use their horns for defense, protecting calves, and practical tasks like breaking branches, digging for water, and creating mud wallows.
The photo was taken at the Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana in June 2025.

This “Smelly-berry fingerleaf fruit” is a seasonal wild fruit native to several countries in Southern Africa, including Botswana. The fruit is ellipsoid to nearly round, about 2 × 1.5 cm, with dark brown to black skin when ripe. It has a sweet, mildly tangy flavor, often with a subtle chocolate-like richness.
This photo was taken in Botswana in June 2025, during the fruit’s natural fruiting season.

Impalas have distinctive brush-like tufts of black hair that cover metatarsal glands located just above the heel on each hind leg. These glands are unique to the species. Although their exact function remains uncertain, it has been suggested that the scent released when an impala kicks its hind legs may help the herd regroup after being scattered by a threat.

African elephants have two finger-like protrusions at the tips of their trunks, enabling them to pinch and pick up objects, including delicate ones like a single blade of grass!

I prepared a flavorful dish by combining sliced and steamed butternut squash, green bell pepper, and onions with thin slices of cheddar cheese and cooked minced meat. The ingredients were lightly tossed in a few drops of extra-virgin olive oil and baked at 190 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes. The result was a delicious medley of tender roasted vegetables infused with savory minced meat and perfectly melted cheddar.
The picture was taken immediately after the baking was complete.

May love be the language that unites us, and peace the path we walk as one. In a world of differences, let us embrace kindness, compassion, and understanding. Together, we can build a future where peace is not just a dream but a way of life.
