Did you know?

African elephants have two finger-like protrusions at the tips of their trunks, enabling them to pinch and pick up objects, including delicate ones like a single blade of grass!

I prepared a flavorful dish by combining sliced and steamed butternut squash, green bell pepper, and onions with thin slices of cheddar cheese and cooked minced meat. The ingredients were lightly tossed in a few drops of extra-virgin olive oil and baked at 190 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes. The result was a delicious medley of tender roasted vegetables infused with savory minced meat and perfectly melted cheddar.

The picture was taken immediately after the baking was complete.

May love be the language that unites us, and peace the path we walk as one. In a world of differences, let us embrace kindness, compassion, and understanding. Together, we can build a future where peace is not just a dream but a way of life.

I sautéed sliced onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers in olive oil, added barbecued beef steak chunks, salt, and spices. I tossed these with boiled pasta and served them with boiled carrots glazed in lemon juice, lettuce leaves, cheese slices, and drizzled olive oil.

The sourplum fruit, native to Botswana, turns orange or red when ripe. Its juicy pulp has a sour taste and can be eaten raw, soaked to make porridge, or processed into jams and jellies. The fruit is best enjoyed slightly overripe and is also used in desserts.
