Quick Tip to Initiate a Deep Sleep Cycle

Your brain needs to drop 2–3 degrees in temperature to initiate sleep. That’s the reason you fall asleep easier in a room that is too cold rather than too hot, including wearing lighter clothing or just underwear to keep cool, which also seems to improve falling into a deep sleep.

"Hot Tip" is having a hot shower or bath before bed.

When you get into a hot bath you get vasodilation i.e., (rosy cheeks and red skin). Your blood rushes to the surface and when you get out of the bath you have a massive thermal dump of heat that dissipates from your body which causes your core body temperature to plummet and that’s why you will sleep better.
