It aims to provide continuous political drive and foster collective action, building synergies with pre-existing initiatives to combat hunger and poverty. Its mission is to facilitate mobilisation and enhance alignment between national and international support, including public and private financial resources as well as knowledge-sharing, to enable the large-scale implementation of evidence-based policy instruments and programmes, led by and owned by countries, centred around those most affected by extreme poverty and hunger and people in vulnerable contexts.
