My name is Brian Weber and I am really stoked that you found my channel where I cover all things personal finance, trading, investing, software and more. To give you some background on me: I am an ocean engineer by traditional education and now a self-taught software developer. After college I came to find out that I had over $100k in student loans due to not understanding the consequences of continuing to accept the “free money” offered by my college, and finding out that my mother had forged my name on a student loan that ballooned to more than half of the balance due to negative compound interest. Within 4 years from 2017 to 2021, I not only paid off all of my student loan debt. But my net worth went from -$130k+ to multiple positive six figures and continues to rapidly increase since I am saving/investing over 40% of my income.
