Madeleine Beth McCann was born on 12th may 2003 to Kate and Gerry McCann. In 2005 Madeleine was joined by twins. Their lives were full of laughter and happiness. Madeleine was a smart, happy, energic little girl. But soon this happiness was taken away from them.
The McCann family decided to go on a holiday to Portugal on the 28th april 2007. Madeleine was very excited and had the best days of her life. On 3rd may 2007 she was put to bed while her parents were dining in a nearby restaurant. When her mother went to check on her children, Madeleine was gone. She was just 9 days shy of her 4th birthday.
